Hit-and-run Driver Intentionally Strikes Two People in Fullerton
FULLERTON, CA (July 15, 2019) – Early in the morning on Saturday, a hit-and-run driver struck two people in Fullerton and, according to reports, the act was intentional. The July 13 incident occurred on Raymond Avenue in the 600 block.
The time was roughly 2:00 a.m.
Reports say that the people involved in the incident had been arguing. One person drove a pickup truck, reports say, intentionally into two other people, and then fled the scene.
One of the victims suffered multiple broken bones. The other victim suffered injuries that were described as moderate. Responders transported the two victims to a hospital. The victims were identified only as men. Their names, ages, and cities of residence have not been reported. Their current condition was described as critical.
According to Matt Martinez, who is a sergeant, the victims had told responding officers that they were struck intentionally following an argument. Investigators are searching for the suspect driver.
