Driver Crashes Car into Pole in Fullerton; Dies from His Injuries
FULLERTON, CA (November 14, 2018) – A driver crashed a car into a pole Monday night in Fullerton, and died from his injuries. The November 12 accident occurred where Open Sky Drive and Gilbert Street intersect.
The time was roughly 10:00 p.m.
According to reports, responders from the fire department arrived on scene and saw a wrecked vehicle—described as a Lexus sedan, gray in color—mangled against a city light pole. Responders pronounced the driver—identified as a man—deceased at the accident scene.
Sergeant Carin Wright said that the early investigation indicates the Lexus had been heading north on Gilbert Street. A second vehicle may have been involved in the crash. Investigators found debris at the accident site that was from a second car.
The identity of the man who died has not yet been reported. No information has been reported yet on the identity of the driver of a possible second vehicle, or what type of vehicle made have been involved.
Investigators are examining the details and information to find out what caused the crash.
