Fullerton Crash near Bastanchury Road and Lancer Way Kills Bicyclist
FULLERTON, CA (November 24, 2020) – Late in the afternoon on Monday, a bicyclist was struck and killed in Fullerton. The November 23 incident occurred near Lancer Way and Bastanchury Road.
The time was roughly 5:43 p.m., Fullerton Police said.
A vehicle–which has not been described–struck the bicyclist. The manner in which the crash occurred has also not been described, and it is not clear where each vehicle had been traveling prior to colliding.
Responders transported the bicyclist to a trauma center in the area. He was pronounced deceased.
The bicyclist was identified only as 33 years old. His name and city of residence have not been reported.
The person who had been driving the vehicle involved in the crash stayed at in the area and cooperated with the investigation. The identity of the driver, including name, age, gender, and city of residence, has not been reported.
