1 Injured in Fiery Big Rig Accident on 57 Fwy in Fullerton
Fullerton, CA (March 25, 2024) – A fiery big rig accident on the 57 Freeway near Imperial Highway resulted in at least one person suffering minor injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The incident occurred around 8:00 a.m. on Monday when, for reasons yet to be determined, the driver of the big rig lost control on the northbound 57 Freeway.
Crash Destroyed Center Divider of 57 Freeway Creating Closures In Both Directions
The big rig crashed through the center divider and ended up on the southbound side of the freeway. The crash caused debris to fly, damaging at least one car. Paramedics and police quickly responded to the scene, providing assistance to the individual with minor injuries.
Traffic investigators have not yet determined the cause of the crash but are actively investigating the details surrounding the incident. As of now, no further information has been released regarding the circumstances leading to the accident.
