Fontana, CA (November 30th, 2023) – A somber incident unfolded last Sunday as a woman lost her life after being struck by a car at the intersection of San Bernardino Avenue and Juniper Avenue. According to Public Information Officer Daniel Romero, the fatal pedestrian accident occurred at approximately 9:34 p.m. on November 26.

Details surrounding the tragic event indicate that, for reasons unknown, a female pedestrian entered the path of a westbound vehicle near the intersection. The impact between the pedestrian and the vehicle occurred, resulting in grave injuries to the woman.
Promptly responding to the distress call, Fontana Police Officers arrived at the scene to find bystanders administering CPR to the critically injured woman. Despite their efforts, the woman succumbed to her injuries moments later. Authorities are withholding her identity pending further investigations.
