San Bernardino County Sheriff Looking For Person Involved In Hit-and-Run Accident In Fontana
FONTANA, CA (September 24, 2024) – A man was killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident early Tuesday morning on San Bernardino Avenue near Banana Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene around 6:00 a.m. and discovered the victim lying face down on a sidewalk. Authorities believe he was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. The man was pronounced dead at the location. His identity, including his name, age, and residence, has not yet been released.
Authorities Are Asking The Public For Help Identifying The Driver
Investigators currently have no description of the vehicle involved in the fatal incident and are seeking the public’s help in identifying the driver.
