Man Identified as Person Killed in 10 Freeway Crash in Fontana
FONTANA, CA (January 15, 2021) – Dorian Carillo Yuman was identified as the person who was killed early in the afternoon on Wednesday in a crash in Fontana. The January 14 incident occurred near Cherry Avenue and the on-ramp for the 10 Freeway.
The time was roughly 1:00 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Reports say a vehicle–described as a Ford–had been traveling in the freeway’s first lane and heading west. The Ford hit the rear end of a tractor trailer.
The driver in the car died at the crash site. He was identified as Dorian Carillo Yuman, a resident of South Gate, 39 years old.
The person who had been driving the tractor-trailer suffered injuries that were described as minor. He was identified as a resident of Fontana, 64 years old. His name has not been reported.
Investigators are continuing to work on the incident.
