An accident that occurred on Friday in East Los Angeles, California claimed the life of a child.
The crash took place around 5:30 p.m. Friday afternoon and it involved three vehicles. One of the automobiles was a minivan that was carrying two young children.
The children were ages 5 and 10, and it has been reported that one of them was killed. The other child’s condition has not been revealed, nor have the identities or the specifics regarding which child died.
Los Angeles Police Department, Fire Department and California Highway Patrol all responded to the accident and attempted to save all parties involved. It has not been reported whether any other injuries were sustained by other inhabitants of the remaining vehicles.
