56-Year-Old Fontana Woman Dies after Struck by Vehicle
Fontana, CA (December 21, 2023) – In a devastating incident late Friday afternoon on December 15, Eva Vera lost her life after being struck by a vehicle in the 17000 block of Randall Street.

The fatal crash occurred at approximately 5:14 p.m., as Vera was walking in the area. According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle collided with her, causing significant injuries.
Swiftly responding paramedics transported Vera to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, where, unfortunately, she was pronounced dead at 5:56 p.m. The victim, identified as 56-year-old Fontana resident Eva Vera, succumbed to the injuries sustained in the tragic incident.
The circumstances surrounding whether the involved driver remained at the scene were unclear at the time of the report.
