EL CAJON, CA (September 6, 2019) – Early in the morning on Thursday, a vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian in El Cajon. The September 5 incident occurred on Johnson Avenue in the 1000 block.
The time was roughly 5:30 a.m., according to El Cajon Police.
Reports say a vehicle—described as a pickup truck—struck the person. It is not clear from reports where the person had been walking when the vehicle struck.
The person died at the accident site. The identity of the victim, including name, age, gender, and city of residence, has not been reported.
