Los Angeles Driver Hits and Kills Man and His Three Dogs in Downtown Area
LOS ANGELES, CA (September 29, 2022) – Early in the morning on Thursday in downtown Los Angeles, a driver struck and killed a man and his three dogs while they were out for a walk.
The September 29 crash occurred close to where South Hill Street and West 5th Street are located.
The time was roughly a little before 12:30 a.m., Los Angeles Police said.
According to authorities, a vehicle–described as an SUV–hit the man and his dogs. The driver attempted to leave the scene, but smashed into a number of vehicles that were parked in the vicinity of Hill Street and 7th Street.
Responders found the man and his dogs were all killed at the crash site. Man’s identity–including his name, age, and city of residence–has not been reported.
The dogs names have also not been reported.
Authorities took the suspect hit-and-run driver into custody. The identity of the person has not been reported.
Investigators are at work collecting details and information about the crash.
