Desert Center, CA (June 28, 2024) – A dramatic accident involving a semi-truck and a Toyota RAV4 caused significant disruption on the 10 Freeway near Corn Springs Road on Friday morning, leaving two people injured.
The crash occurred around 10:07 a.m. when, for reasons yet to be determined, the westbound semi-truck collided with the white Toyota RAV4. The impact was severe enough to split the semi-truck in half, resulting in the blockage of all traffic lanes.
The Cause of The Crash Is Still Under Investigation
Emergency services arrived at the scene within half an hour. Paramedics provided immediate medical attention to both drivers. The semi-truck driver sustained serious injuries, while the driver of the Toyota RAV4 suffered less severe injuries.
