Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash on 210 Freeway Leaves One Dead
IRWINDALE, CA (April 11, 2025) — Daniel Fisch, 42, of Monrovia was killed Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on the westbound 210 Freeway, just east of Irwindale Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal collision occurred around 4:40 p.m. and involved a gray Chevrolet Impala and a gray Hyundai Elantra.

Authorities say Daniel Fisch of Monrovia had just entered the freeway from the Irwindale Avenue on-ramp when a separate incident involving the Hyundai unfolded. The Hyundai, driven by 18-year-old Rashad Kellen James Martin of Fontana, had veered into a metal electrical box on the shoulder of the freeway. The impact caused the Hyundai to spin out and collide with the left side of Fisch’s Impala. Both vehicles then veered off the roadway and came to rest on a nearby dirt embankment.
Fisch suffered major injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Martin survived the crash and sustained undisclosed injuries.
CHP Officials Are Trying To Determine What Caused Rashad Kellen James Martin To Lose Control of His Vehicle
CHP officials are investigating the circumstances of the collision and are working to determine liability. At this time, drugs or alcohol are not believed to be contributing factors.
