CHATSWORTH, CA (October 13, 2020) – Early in the morning on Monday in Chatsworth, a pedestrian died after being struck by a hit-and-run driver. The October 12 incident occurred on Topanga Canyon Boulevard at Santa Suzanna Pass Road.
The time was roughly 5:30 a.m., Los Angeles Police said.
The victim had been crossing Topanga Canyon Boulevard on foot, and a vehicle–described only as a sedan, dark in color–struck him. The person driving the vehicle fled the scene, and did not help the victim.
Responders arrived and pronounced the pedestrian deceased at the incident site. His identity, including name, age, and city of residence, has not been reported.
Investigators are searching for the vehicle, and the suspected hit-and-run driver, who has not been described.
