Pedestrian Struck and Injured by Hit-and-run Driver in West Carson
CARSON, CA (October 25, 2018) – A hit-and-run driver struck a pedestrian early in the morning on Monday in Carson. The October 22 accident occurred at Vermont Avenue and 223rd Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The time was roughly 3:00 a.m.
Reports say that witnesses saw a vehicle—described as dark green—hit a man, and that the person driving—who was described as a woman—yelled for help. The driver did not remain at the accident scene.
The injured man tried to crawl out of the road and move to the sidewalk, California Highway Patrol said.
Responders took the victim to the hospital.
