Big rig and Cars Collide on 110 Freeway in Carson Near Carson Street
CARSON, CA (February 9, 2021) – On Monday night, multiple vehicles collided in Carson on the 110 Freeway. The February 8 incident occurred on the northbound side of the roadway, close to the exit for Carson Street.
The time was roughly 8:10 p.m., according to Michael Brandt, a California Highway Patrol officer.
It is not clear how many vehicles collided, and the only vehicle that has been described is a big rig. As many as four vehicles may have been involved.
No details are known as to how the collision occurred, or what sequence affected each vehicle. The wreckage of the incident was strewn about the freeway’s lanes.
Responders arrived, but no details have been reported on any possible injuries. None of the drivers involved in the crash have been identified, including their names, ages, gender, and cities of residence.
It is not known if there were any passengers in any of the vehicles that collided.
Investigators are working to understand the causes of the crash, and they are in the process of collecting details and information.
