A car ran through the wall of Shogun Palace restaurant Saturday evening.
Several of the customers received minor injuries.
Fifty-one year old Bhavana Patel told police she tried to apply the brakes but the car did not respond. The restaurant is located in the 5400 block of California Avenue.
Patel, the driver, went unharmed.
Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor in the accident.
The restaurant has since been boarded up and closed.
