A woman is traumatized and injured after an elusive suspect shot at her car and riddled it with bullets in South Los Angeles Tuesday afternoon.
The incident took place just before 12:40 p.m. It happened at 52nd St. and Figueroa Ave.
The shooting victim drove to a nearby Rite Aid and called police after the incident. When officers looked at the riddled car, they were amazed she made it out without being shot. The victim, a woman, did receive a leg injury that did not result from a gunshot. She was taken to a nearby local hospital.
The LAPD is investigating the shooting. Currently, they are not divulging if they have a suspect. A description of the suspect hasn’t been released. The woman hasn’t been identified by authorities yet either. Anyone with information is asked to contact the LAPD.
