9 Injured When Car Crashes into Perris Middle School
PERRIS, CA (March 18, 2022) – Early in the afternoon on Wednesday in Perris, a car crashed into a building at a school, injuring nine people. The March 16 crash occurred at 21675 Martin Street, where the Tomas Rivera Middle School is located.
The time was roughly 1:15 p.m., according to Cal Fire Riverside and the California Highway Patrol.
Reports say a vehicle–described as a Toyota Corolla–crashed into a building. According to people who witnessed the crash, the car traveled up a driveway before it struck the building.
Nine people–identified only as adults–were injured. According to Cal Fire, three people suffered injuries described as moderate. Five people suffered injuries described as minor.
Responders transported the patients to the hospital for treatment.
No one involved in the crash has been identified, including name, age, gender, and city of residence.
According to reports, no students were hurt in the crash.
