Crash in Camarillo on the 101 Freeway Causes Big Rig to Rollover
CAMARILLO, CA (September 25, 2018) – A crash on the 101 Freeway in Camarillo early on Tuesday caused a big rig to roll over and catch on fire.
The accident occurred in the northbound lanes of the freeway, north of Lewis Road.
The time was roughly 4:15 a.m.
Firefighters arrived on scene to put the fire out. The freeway had all northbound lanes closed for 30 minutes.
Responders transported the truck’s driver to Thousand Oaks’ Los Robles Medical Center. The injuries the driver suffered were described as minor.
Investigators from the California Highway Patrol are looking into the details of the crash to determine what caused it.
