BUENA PARK, CA (June 20, 2019) – A person who is suspected of driving under the influence (DUI) struck and injured a pedestrian in Buena Park on Wednesday night. The June 19 incident occurred on Artesia Boulevard in the 7900 block, close to Marshall Avenue.
The time was roughly 9:20 p.m.
Reports say responders arrived and found the victim—identified as a man 28 years old—on the road. Sergeant J. Shaddow, who is with the Buena Park Police Department, said the victim suffered injuries that were described as major.
