Man Hospitalized and Arrested in Stolen Car Crash on 10 Fwy in Fontana
Fontana, CA (May 24, 2024) — A high-speed chase involving a stolen vehicle culminated in an arrest after the driver, Bryan Favela crashed near the intersection of the 10 Freeway and Citrus Avenue on May 24. The Fontana Police Department reported that the incident began just after 7:22 p.m. when officers spotted a stolen 2019 red Chevy Camaro.
Bryan Favela Refused To Pullover Which Prompted The Dangerous Chase
The driver, identified as 24-year-old Bryan Favela, refused to pull over and led police on a pursuit through the city. The chase ended when Favela collided with a parked car while attempting to navigate the intersection at Citrus Avenue and the 10 Freeway. Favela then attempted to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended by police.
Following his arrest, Bryan Favela was taken into custody and booked at the West Valley Detention Center. There were no immediate reports of other injuries resulting from the crash.
