Driver of Stolen Car Leads Police in Chase; Crashes in Boyle Heights
BOYLE HEIGHTS, CA (September 4, 2018) – The driver of a stolen car led the police in a chase that ended with a crash in Boyle Heights on Monday.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, deputies attempted to pull over a vehicle that they believe was stolen.
The driver fled from the sheriff’s deputies and later collided with a vehicle located on State Street, close to the 101 Freeway. Responders took a man and a woman, who had been in the vehicle that was struck by the fleeing car and who were injured, to the hospital.
Also transported to the hospital was a woman who had been inside of the suspect’s car.
No other details were available as to the identities of the people involved in the crash.
