Bakersfield 13 Year Old Boy Struck and Injured by Hit-and-run Driver
BAKERSFIELD, CA (October 25, 2021) – Early in the morning on Friday in Bakersfield, a teenaged boy was struck and injured by a hit-and-run driver. The October 22 crash occurred at 4615 Mountain Vista Drive.
The time was roughly 8:14 a.m., Bakersfield Police said.
The boy–13 years old–was struck and injured by a vehicle, described as an SUV, which may have been a Ford Flex, dark in color. The driver did not stop to help the victim, but fled the crash site.
Responders transported the boy to a hospital. The types of injuries he suffered, and his current condition, are not known.
Investigators are searching for the vehicle involved, and the suspect hit-and-run driver, who was described only as a man.
