Woman Struck and Injured by Hit-and-run Driver in Big Bear Lake
BIG BEAR LAKE, CA (November 10, 2020) – Emillee Wang was struck and seriously injured on Friday night by a hit-and-run driver in Big Bear Lake. The November 6 incident occurred on Bartlett Road.
The time was roughly s little before 9:00 p.m., according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
Wang had been crossing Bartlett Road on foot, and a vehicle–described as a Ford F150 pickup truck with a crew cab–struck her. The driver did not help Wang, but fled the crash site.
Responders arrived and found that Wang had suffered injuries that were described as severe. Her current condition is not known.
She is a resident of Big Bear Lake, 62 years old.
Reports say video recorded the truck involved in the crash. The Sheriff’s Department has posted it online.
Investigators are searching for the vehicle, and the suspect driver.
