Man Dies in Collision Involving Motorcycle and Van in Big Bear
BIG BEAR, CA (May 29, 2019) – Sean Argyle died in a collision involving a motorcycle and a van in the evening on Friday in Big Bear. The May 24 incident occurred where Mountainaire Lane and Big Bear Boulevard intersect in Big Bear Lake.
The time was roughly 7:55 p.m., according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
Reports say the van had been heading northbound on Mountainaire Lane and the motorcycle that Argyle had been riding had been traveling west on Big Bear Boulevard. The two vehicles collided in the intersection.
Respondents arrived on scene and took Argyle to Loma Linda University Medical Center by airlift. On Sunday, Argyle died from the injuries he suffered. His age and city of residence have not been reported.
The identity of the person who had been driving the van has not been reported, including the person’s name, age, gender, and city of residence. It is not known if the driver suffered any injury in the incident.
