Man Struck and Killed by Hit-and-run Driver on Pacific Avenue in Baldwin Park
BALDWIN PARK, CA (November 7, 2019) – Late in the afternoon on Wednesday, a pedestrian was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver in Baldwin Park. The November 6 incident occurred on Pacific Avenue in the 14600 block, near Vineland Avenue and to the east of it.
The time was roughly 5:30 p.m., according to Andy Velebil. Velebil is a lieutenant with the Baldwin Park Police Department.
Reports say a pedestrian was struck, but it is not clear from reports where the victim had been walking when the incident happened. The driver did not stop to help the victim.
Responders arrived on scene and found the victim, who was identified only as an adult male. His name, age, and city of residence have not been reported. It is not known from reports if he died at the scene of the incident.
Investigators are searching for the vehicle involved, and the suspected hit-and-run driver. Neither the driver nor the car has been described.
