BAKERSFIELD, CA (April 3, 2019) – A vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian Tuesday night in Bakersfield. The April 2 accident occurred on Haley Street in the 3200 block.
The time was roughly 8:50 p.m., the Bakersfield Police Department said.
Respondents arrived on scene and found a person who was injured. The victim had suffered injuries that were described as major. He was pronounced deceased at the accident site. The man’s name, age, and city of residence have not been reported.
According to reports, the pedestrian had been walking in the street and he was not inside of a crosswalk. A vehicle struck him as he was walking in the road.
