Woman Killed in Crash on South Union Avenue in Bakersfield
BAKERSFIELD, CA (December 26, 2019) – Carla Latrice Strother was identified by the Kern County coroner’s office as the victim who was killed in a crash last Friday. The December 20 incident occurred on South Union Avenue, near Highway 223 and to the south of it.
The time was roughly 6:50 a.m.
Reports say Strother had been driving on South Union Avenue and was involved in a head-on collision with another vehicle. The factors that contributed to the crash have not been reported.
Strother was killed in the incident. She was 44 years old, and a resident of Bakersfield.
The driver of the other vehicle has not been identified, including name, age, gender, and city of residence. The condition of the other driver has also not been reported.
Investigators are continuing their work to collect details and information about the crash, to understand the circumstances.
