BAKERSFIELD, CA (August 5, 2018) – An alleged drunk driver crashed into a downtown Bakersfield building on Tuesday morning.
The July 31 crash occurred at roughly 3:00 a.m. on east 18th Street, Bakersfield Police Department said, near Sonora Street.
Police arrested the driver on suspicion of DUI, driving under the influence, after they found a bottle containing alcohol in the vehicle.
The person driving the car was not injured in the crash, according to the Bakersfield Police Department.
Investigators are looking into the details regarding the damages.
