Hit-and-run Crash at Beachy Ave. Injures Man in Arleta, CA
ARLETA, CA (June 10, 2022) – Early in the morning on Sunday in Arleta, a hit-and-run crash seriously injured a man. The June 5 crash occurred where Osborne Street and Beachy Avenue are located.
The time was roughly 1:15 a.m., Los Angeles Police said.
According to authorities, a vehicle–described as a Toyota Yaris–was struck by a U-Haul that was reported stolen. Two men who were traveling in the U-Haul abandoned the truck and fled the crash site.
The two suspects did not help the victim, or call for help.
Responders arrived and transported the person who had been driving the Toyota to Holy Cross Hospital.
He suffered injuries that were described as severe. His current condition is critical.
His identity, including name, age, and city of residence, has not been reported.
The two suspects have not been described.
Investigators are searching for the suspects, and if anyone has information about the crash, the person can call Detective Wade.
