Crash on Harbor Blvd. Kills Three in Anaheim, CA
ANAHEIM, CA (March 29, 2022) – Early in the morning on Monday in Anaheim, a fiery car crash killed three people. The March 28 crash occurred on Harbor Boulevard.
The time was roughly a little before 2:00 a.m., Anaheim Police said.
According to authorities, officers on patrol saw a vehicle–described as a Mercedes, white in color–traveling on Harbor Boulevard and heading south at a fast speed. The car went out of the driver’s control, and the car launched into the air.
The car smashed into a brick wall and broke in half; it erupted in flames and broke a fire hydrant in the area.
Water from the broken hydrant gushed into the air, hitting power lines above it. The water became energized from the power lines, reports say, and exploding occurred.
Responders found the three occupants of the Mercedes died at the crash site. They were described only as possibly three males.
None of the people who died in the crash have yet been identified, including their names, ages, and cities of residence.
Investigators are working to understand the crash.
