ANAHEIM, CA (October 27, 2022) – Early in the evening on Wednesday in Anaheim, two vehicles collided, killing a woman. Two others suffered injuries in the October 26 crash, which occurred where Dale Avenue and Orange Avenue intersect.
The time was roughly 7:55 p.m., Shane Carringer said. Carringer is a sergeant with Anaheim Police.
No details have yet been reported on how the two vehicles–described as a Toyota Prius and an Amazon truck–collided.
The line of travel of each vehicle prior to the collision is not known from reports.
Responders transported the driver and a passenger who had been traveling in the Prius to the hospital.
The passenger was pronounced deceased in the hospital. She was identified only as 60 years old.
Her name and city of residence have not been reported.
The Prius’ driver suffered injuries that were described as major. The patient’s identity is not known.
Reports say the Amazon truck’s driver suffered injuries that were described as minor. The identity of the driver is also not known from reports.
Investigators are continuing their work to collect details and information to understand why, and how, the crash happened.
