Hit-and-run Driver Seriously Injures Woman in Anaheim

ANAHEIM, CA (November 26, 2018) – A hit-and-run driver seriously injured a woman in the evening on Saturday in Anaheim. The November 24 accident occurred close to where Leatrice Lane and Haster Street intersect.

The time was roughly 8:49 p.m.

According to reports, the victim—identified as a woman 18 years old—was struck by an SUV. Respondents arrived on scene and found the young woman lying in the street. She had suffered injuries that were serious. Respondents took the victim to a hospital in the area. As of Sunday morning, her condition was described as critical.

Anaheim Police believe that the SUV was a red Isuzu Amigo, either a 1998 or a 1999 model. According to Jeff Mundy, who is a sergeant with the Anaheim Police, investigators are searching for the vehicle and the person who was driving it. Munday said that the Izusu has damage to the headlight on the right side.

The name of the victim has not yet been published, nor the types of injuries she suffered.

A description of the driver, including age and gender, has also not yet been published.
