1 Dead After Car Hits Pole and Unoccupied Building in Los Angeles
Los Angeles, CA (May 4, 2024) – A tragic incident on Manchester Avenue near S. Central Avenue resulted in the death of Alejandro Banales after his vehicle collided with a pole and an unoccupied building. The single-car crash, which occurred around 12:20 a.m. on Saturday, has left the community mourning.
For Reasons Unknown, Alejandro Banales Lost Control of His Car
The Los Angeles Police Department reports that Alejandro Banales, for reasons yet unknown, lost control of his white pickup truck while traveling westbound on Manchester Avenue. The truck subsequently collided with a light pole and then crashed into an unoccupied building.
Emergency services swiftly responded to the scene. Upon arrival, they discovered Alejandro Banales, who had been ejected from the vehicle, was suffering from severe injuries. Despite efforts to save him, Banales succumbed to his injuries. The passenger, a woman whose age remains undisclosed, survived the crash and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
