South Los Angeles 15-year-old Boy Killed when Vehicle Crashes into Liquor Store
LOS ANGELES, CA (November 21, 2022) – Early in the morning on Sunday in South Los Angeles, a 15-year-old boy was killed when a vehicle crashed into a liquor store.
The November 27 crash occurred in the neighborhood of Vermont Square, at 1403 W. 54th Street.
The time was roughly 4:00 a.m., according to authorities.
No details have been reported on what led to the crash. Reports say the SUV erupted in flames and the fire burned the front of the liquor store’s building.
Responders found a boy was killed in the crash. He was identified only as 15 years old.
Another occupant of the vehicle was able to exit the vehicle. Responders transported the patient to the hospital.
The types of injuries that patient suffered, and current condition, are not known.
The person’s identity has not been reported.
Investigators are working to understand how and why the crash happened, and they are continuing to gather information and details.
