Andrew G. Richardson, 23, died Tuesday as a result of an auto accident. He died when his Jeep hit the back of the car in front of him and rolled off the road into a canal bank.

Richardson used the last name Jackson socially. He was the stepson of Police chief Robert Jackson.

Richardson was described as a wonderful person and fun to be with. He was well loved.

Richardson was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from his car as a result of the accident. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Honda, the car that was hit, sustained minor injuries.

Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor in the accident which is under investigation.

Richardson is survived by many friends and loved ones including his step-father, his mother, and younger brother.
