Local farmer, Leonard Nunn Gerry died July 16, 2009 from injuries sustained in an auto accident at 77 years old.
He was the owner of Gerry’s Fruit Bowl in Brentwood.
He was well loved in the community and a community leader.
He was an Army veteran. He was a lover and patron of the arts. He was a close friend of the mayor of the city.
People said they listened when this soft-spoken person spoke.
He will be sorely missed by his many friends in the community.
He is survived by his wife, sons, daughter, grandson, sister, and brothers.
