In Morgan Hill on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 in the afternoon, a thirty-eight year old Moraga man, was driving a 2013 Ford Fusion on Highway 101 according to California Highway Patrol. The estimated speed of the car was 60-65 miles per hour.
The car veered far left and ran into the center median. The car hit the guard rail. It careened into the southbound lanes. A 2014 Kenworth Semitruck behind the Fusion was driving 55 miles per hour. A twenty-six year old from Union city was driving the truck. The truck hit the side of the Ford.
A 1993 Pontiac Grand Am was driving 65 miles per hour. a 57 year old was driving the Grand Am. The Grand Am struck the Ford.
The Ford driver was taken to the Regional Medical Center in San Jose with major injuries.
The truck driver sustained moderate injuries.
The Pontiac driver sustained minor injuries.
There were no arrests. Alcohol did not appear to be related to the accident.
The accident is under investigation.
