Amazon Truck Involved in Crash on 215 Freeway Near Box Springs Road
RIVERSIDE, CA (June 18, 2025) — A collision involving an Amazon delivery semi-truck and a Toyota sedan caused a traffic disruption on the southbound Interstate 215 Freeway late Wednesday morning, authorities said.
The crash occurred around 11:17 a.m. just south of Box Springs Road, according to the California Highway Patrol. The two-vehicle collision involved a blue Amazon semi-truck and a silver Toyota Corolla.
Only Minor Injuries Reported After Amazon Truck Crash
Emergency personnel from CAL FIRE Riverside responded to the scene and treated individuals for minor injuries. It is not yet clear whether any of the injured were transported to a hospital.
The circumstances leading up to the crash remain under investigation as CHP officials work to determine who was at fault.
