Pedestrian Killed in Parking Lot Crash Identified
LAKE ELSINORE, CA (February 22, 2025) – Authorities have identified 58-year-old Michael Ryan as the victim of a fatal pedestrian accident that occurred Monday morning near Lake Elsinore Diamond Stadium.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, the incident took place on February 24 at approximately 10:00 a.m. in the parking lot outside the stadium. For reasons still under investigation, a vehicle struck Ryan in the lot.
Michael Ryan Was Taken To Inland Valley Medical Center Where He Later Died
Emergency crews responded to the scene and transported the victim to Inland Valley Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead nearly six hours later.
The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Officials have ruled out drugs and alcohol as factors in the crash.
