One Seriously Injured in 3 Vehicle Collision at Avenue 50 & Van Buren Street
COACHELLA, CA (February 15, 2025) — A multi-vehicle collision at the intersection of Avenue 50 and Van Buren Street left one person critically injured on Saturday afternoon, February 15.
The crash occurred around 2:00 p.m., according to the Riverside County Fire Department. Three vehicles were involved in the collision, though the exact cause remains under investigation.
Emergency Responders Immediately Transported The One In Critical Condition To A Nearby Hospital
Emergency responders arrived to find three injured individuals. One victim sustained critical injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, while two others suffered minor injuries.
In addition to the injuries, the crash also resulted in damage to power lines. Crews from the Imperial Irrigation District were called to the scene to address the downed pole and restore power in the area.
