Hit-and-Run Driver Kills Woman in Carson
CARSON, CA (August 31, 2024) – A woman was fatally struck in a hit-and-run accident at the intersection of Del Amo Boulevard and Tillman Avenue on Saturday evening. The incident occurred around 6:00 p.m., according to reports.
The driver involved in the collision fled the scene without stopping or identifying themselves, leaving the woman, described by loved ones as a cherished member of the community, fatally injured. The family of the victim does not want to identify her at this time, but she is known to have been a devoted mother, grandmother, and aunt. She was also a long-time employee of the Los Angeles County Courts, having dedicated decades of service.
