4 People Injured in Multi-Car Crash in Northridge
NORTHRIDGE, CA (August 26, 2024) — Four people were injured in a multi-car crash on West Parthenia Street Monday morning, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The accident occurred around 7:50 a.m. on August 26, in the 19700 block of West Parthenia Street near Corbin Avenue. Authorities report that four vehicles collided for reasons still under investigation.
2 People Ended Up Trapped Inside One of The Wrecked Cars
Emergency responders had to extricate two victims trapped in the wreckage. A 20-year-old woman, a 24-year-old woman, and a 50-year-old woman were transported to a local hospital with unspecified injuries. A fourth victim, a 33-year-old man, declined medical transport at the scene.
The intersection was temporarily closed as crews worked to clear the area and investigators examined the scene.
