Single-Car Crash on Highway 111 Leaves 1 Person Injured
PALM SPRINGS, CA (August 13, 2024) – A child sustained injuries in a single-car crash Tuesday morning after a vehicle collided with a palm tree and a pole on Highway 111 near Overture Drive.
The incident occurred around 8:30 a.m. when a woman driving a Volvo lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer off the road and crash into a palm tree and a pole, according to reports.
CHP Has Yet To Determine The Cause of the Crash
The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene and called for an ambulance to assist the injured child, who was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
