2 Arrested Following Police Chase Accident in Visalia
Visalia, CA (July 25, 2024) – Arthur Madrid, 40, and Mark Montejano, 36, were arrested after a police chase ended in a crash on Whitendale Avenue near Crenshaw Street on July 25.
The Visalia Police Department reported that the chase began around 2:40 p.m. when officers identified Arthur Madrid, who had multiple warrants. Madrid attempted to flee but crashed his vehicle on Whitendale Avenue. He and Montejano then exited the car and ran into a neighborhood between Whitendale Avenue and Parkwood Street.
Arthur Madrid Had Multiple Warrants For Identity and Mail Theft
Police quickly established a perimeter and apprehended the suspects hiding in a backyard. Both men were taken into custody and booked at the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility. Arthur Madrid faces charges for multiple warrants, mail theft, and identity theft, while Montejano was charged with resisting arrest.
