Driver in Fatal DUI Crash Arrested On Hwy 180
Fresno, CA (June 20, 2024) – A fatal DUI accident on Highway 180 near Cornelia Avenue claimed the life of 43-year-old Adeline Ramos early Thursday morning.
The California Highway Patrol reported that the crash occurred around 12:15 a.m. Amadeo Menera, 21, of Kerman, was driving a 2019 Nissan Sentra when he veered from the westbound to the eastbound lanes, colliding with an eastbound Nissan Versa.
Amadeo Menera and Other Driver Involved In Crash Sustained Serious Injuries
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and transported Adeline Ramos, a passenger in the Nissan Versa, to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. Both Amadeo Menera and the other driver sustained major injuries and were also hospitalized.
Following an investigation, authorities determined that Amadeo Menera was impaired and subsequently arrested him for DUI.
