Man Airlifted in Multi-Car Accident on 15 Freeway
Victorville, CA (March 19, 2024) – A serious multi-vehicle accident on the 15 Freeway in Victorville unfolded Tuesday night, March 19, resulting in a man being airlifted to the hospital.
The incident occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m., just south of the Roy Rogers Drive off-ramp. California Highway Patrol reported that a white van, a small SUV, and two other vehicles were involved in the collision.
Following the crash, two individuals found themselves trapped inside one of the vehicles, unable to exit. Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find the vehicles extensively damaged.
Helicopter Airlifted Man To Arrowhead Regional Medical Center
Fire crews utilized the jaws of life to extricate the male driver of a black 1998 Honda Civic from the wreckage. Subsequently, a helicopter transported the man to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition.
Another male patient, with minor injuries, was transported via ground ambulance to a local hospital. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
