Hemet, CA (January 18, 2024) – A collision between an ATV and a car at the intersection of Tahquitz Avenue and Devonshire Avenue has left two individuals with critical injuries, according to Hemet police reports.

The two-vehicle accident unfolded on December 20 around 12:29 p.m. Preliminary investigations by the police revealed that, for reasons unknown, the occupants of a Yamaha ATV failed to adhere to the posted stop sign. As a consequence, the ATV collided with the passenger side of a westbound Ford Transit van. The impact caused both ATV occupants to be forcefully ejected from the vehicle, landing on the roadway.
Emergency Responders Transport Both Parties To a Moreno Valley Hospital
Emergency response teams swiftly arrived at the scene, and paramedics transported the injured pair to Riverside University Health System in Moreno Valley for critical injury treatment. Meanwhile, the driver of the Ford van, who remained uninjured, cooperated with police investigators on-site.
