Cathedral City, CA (December 12, 2023) – Tragedy struck on Sunday evening, December 10, when a 66-year-old Cathedral City man lost his life in a pedestrian accident on Date Palm Drive, according to the Cathedral City Police Department.
Emergency Crews Declared Man Dead At The Scene of The Accident
The incident occurred at approximately 10:16 p.m. near Victoria Road, where, for reasons still under investigation, a vehicle collided with the pedestrian. Emergency crews, responding promptly to the scene, declared the victim deceased on-site. Authorities are withholding the victim’s identity pending notification of next of kin.
